Welcome to Ohnemusbeef. We sell packaged beef directly from our farm store. It is USDA inspected and processed locally.  Call or text 641-942-7702, leave a message here, or drop by the farm and we can sell a small amount, a bundle, or put together a 1/4 or 1/8 for you while you wait.


Custom beef we sell by the 1/4, 1/2, and whole. This is where we use local lockers to cut beef to your specifications, and you pick it up from the locker approximately 2 weeks after it goes in. Currently our prices are 3.25/lb hanging weight and price will be locked in at time of purchase. Down payments are required for 1/4, 1/2 and whole beef. 

1/4 BEEF

  • Roughly 175-240lbs hanging weight 

  • Approximately 90-125lbs of take-home beef

  • Provides 50-70 meals

  • about 15-25 weeks supply

  • Mix of steaks, roasts, ground beef, and various other cuts

  • Approximately 5 cubic feet of freezer space

1/2 BEEF

  • Roughly 350-500 lbs. hanging weight

  • Approximately 160-225 lbs. of take-home beef

  • Provides 100-135 meals

  • Bout 35-45 weeks supply

  • Mix of steaks and roasts, ground beef, various other cuts and More flexibility with thickness and aging specifications

  • Approximately 8-10 cubic feet of freezer space


  • Roughly 700-1100 lbs. hanging weight

  • Approximately 300-450 lbs. of take-home beef

  • Provides 200-275 meals

  • About 70-90 weeks supply

  • Mix of steaks, roasts ground beef and various cuts with flexible aging and cutting preferences

  • Approximately 20 cubic feet of freezer space*

*freezer space is affected by how much bone, organ meat, tallow you keep. Also, how you process and get it packaged.
